Volume II of 100% Handmade Music offers a diverse selection of great, high-quality acoustic music. The songs on this disc include selections from seven recent Acoustic Disc projects as well as a couple of surprises.

You'll hear Jerry Garcia singing "Teddy Bears' Picnic" from Not For Kids Only , and David Grisman and Andy Statman playing powerful, passionate Jewish music from Songs of Our Fathers. Traditional bluegrass classics by legends Red Allen and Frank Wakefield from The KitchenTapes compliment jazz standards performed by the late master of swing, Jethro Burns from Swing Low, Sweet Mandolin . Brazilian choro music from the fabulous Jacob do Bandolim on Mandolin Master of Brazil Volume ll segues into some incredible contemporary mandolin and mando-cello playing from Czech It Out by the visionary solo artist from Eastern Europe, Radim Zenkl.

Two brand-new cuts available only on this release make this more than just a typical sampler. "I am a Pilgrim" is an alternate take from Tone Poems, David Grisman and Tony Rice's acclaimed tribute to vintage guitars and mandolins, and "Delicato" is a bonus cut featuring Grisman and Argentine-an guitar virtuoso Enrique Coria.

There's only one other compilation we can think of that offers anything dose to Volume II of 100% Handmade Music, and that's Volume I Acoustic Disc's first sampler.
